A staircase can be a very expressive part of the architecture, connecting spaces vertically and aesthetically.  This current exercise in stairway design, a project with Vujovich Design Build, shows a few modern options:


Metal stringers with floating wood treads, metal pipe railing verses a central metal stringer, dark wood treads and glass railings.  Which do you prefer?
